Christmas TV Appearance

Paula will be appearing on a repeat showing of the 'Who Wants to be a Millionnaire? Olympic Special,' which sees her teaming up with Jonathan Edwards to help raise money for charity. It will be aired on Thursday, December 30th on ITV at 6.55pm and will also be shown the following day at 3.05pm.

You might feel Paula Radcliffe is entitled to look back with pride on 2004, given the way she won the New York marathon just 10 weeks after her traumatic failure at the Olympics. Suggesting as much to her, however, creates uncharacteristic consternation. "I don't really think of it like that," she eventually responds, after staring out of the window for a while...

Paula Radcliffe is the Top Performer for November in the IAAF World Rankings

Britain's Paula Radcliffe is the Top Performer of the Month for November in the IAAF World Rankings thanks to winning the New York City Marathon. Radcliffe's time of 2:23:10 earned her 1335 points.

GB seek title without Paula

Great Britain's women aim to defend their team title at this Sunday's European Cross Country Championships without the help of Paula Radcliffe. Radcliffe, who is taking a break in Mexico after a gruelling season, won the individual women's race last year to guide the British team to the crown.

Paula: Make Drug Cheats Pay

Paula Radcliffe has said that athletes who fail drug tests should be treated as criminals and given penalties to match. In the wake of further accusations in America that have rocked the world of athletics, Britain's world record-holder in the women's marathon said existing penalties were not tough enough.

Radcliffe Sr lands key role

Peter Radcliffe, father of Paula, will head up the body charged with restructuring athletics in England. Radcliffe will chair England Athletics 2005, an interim organisation which will establish a new governing body for the sport in 2006.
