World marathon champion Paula Radcliffe will be spending New Years in Madrid, as she is set to compete in the San Silvestre Vallecana 10km race on December 31.
Paula, who will be in the UK for Christmas, said: "I'm really looking forward to the race. I am feeling so much better than I was a while ago. In fact it is only really now that I realise how bad that I did feel. Feeling bad became normal when I was ill, especially as it lasted for 6 weeks all in all."
Paula also wishes all the visitors to the site a very happy Christmas.
