Flagstaff, a town at the "back of beyond," according to the London Daily Mail, worked so well for Paula Radcliffe last fall that she's expected back this month or next to prepare for the Flora London Marathon.
The English women's marathon world record holder is in Albuquerque for training but could divide time between New Mexico and Flagstaff before tackling London on April 17.
As far back as 2002, Radcliffe considered shifting her winter altitude training to Flagstaff, where the "trails will be kinder to my knees," she told the London Daily Telegraph.
